Beltane, babee, oh yes it is May 1st. Not quite the hoopla of the 1st day of Spring or anything the average person has any inkling of. I find it very propitious that things are aligned just so as I not only stand on this brink, but am poised to make the plunge into my new life. I’ve never been one to do things quite centered, so a halfway mark instead of a full mark is just about right in my world.

We took another huge step today - we handed in an application to one townhouse. They will let us know in about 24 hours, so I will know by Sunday if that is our new home.

Every time we clear a hurdle, another jumps out onto the path. I lost a potential job today that was supposed to be about half my income to get any place.

However, the Universe is perfect.

And so another mama and I connected.

I need to stop here & explain a current oddity. Everyone I am dealing with these fortuitous days all have one of a handful of names. Moreover, not just any names. Of course not. I am talking about a handful of Lories, Lorees, Lauries, a smattering of Lisas, and a gaggle of Chrises, Chrissies, Krissies. All of this is good stuffs, make no doubt. These are names that are important to me in a familial way and as such are good road signs from the Universe.

Today was also a day of wrapping up loose ends. E-mails, phone calls, completed mini projects. I have a handful yet to accomplish before the clock clicks over to tomorrow.

This day of marking time has been most fruitful and auspicious.
